Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for the edits you have made to this article. I am sure the information you provided comes from a reliable source, but if you do not provide citations in the article, it cannot be verified - and verification is an essential requirement for Wikipedia. You can find information and advice about this at Wikipedia:Verifiability. If citations are not added to the article, there is a danger that the material will be moved to the talk page, or worse, deleted altogether. You can find advice on how to provide the necessary citations at Wikipedia:Citing sources. Your edits look to be a valuable contribution to the article and it would be a pity to lose them. Best wishes. --Peter I. Vardy (talk) 08:14, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
Hi Peter. I am new to editing Wikipedia and began the work on Monday before being called away so naturally saved it. I am sure I will work out an easier way to update the post and save temporary changes soon. I have fully updated the work with citation. I know that I need to do some more work and will continue to do this. Any comments are appreciated. Hewitsonc (talk) 10:25, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the excellent work you have done in this article. I've amended some of the citations, mainly in an attempt to reduce some of the duplication. A tip: if you wish to save unfinished work, save it in your sandbox. This is your own private area, and it will not come to light until you upload it to the main page. --Peter I. editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Lion Salt Works has been reverted.
Your edit here to Lion Salt Works was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://thelionsaltworks.blogspot.co.uk/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 12:55, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
- I've reverted the bot's edit for you: sorry about that, the bots around here are normally a bit more friendly and useful! Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 13:02, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
