Hello. Your editing behaviour is not in question here, just your username. I did not realise this organisation name was lifted from a film which I now realise. It is also the name of a film review website however that site doesn't appear to have been updated since 2009. That being said, it still gives the impression that your account is representative of being on behalf of an organisation. I will unblock your account, however if you wish to proceed with your change of username you may following the information provided at Changing username. Thanks for your explanation and I wish you all the best at Wikipedia. -- Longhair\talk 00:14, 16 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Longhair: Hey I never replied here cause it took me a while to figure out how to properly do that, but now that I'm a bit more familiar with Wikipedia, I just wanted to follow-up here and thank you for providing this explanation (which makes perfect sense by the way), and for being so kind to me when I clearly did not fully understand how all of the mechanics of the site work. Thanks again, and cheers! (Hinckleycoldstorage (talk) 07:38, 26 April 2019 (UTC))Reply

Steven Seagal

edit

Hi. Thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Steven Seagal. However, most of the edit had to be reverted. Putting aside the questionable-looking nature of that webpage (it appears to be a disorganized list of items listed chronologically out of order), it makes no mention of Seagal's views on gun rights or any gun collection. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 02:59, 9 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Nightscream: Thanks for dropping me a line re; the edit to Seagal's page! I actually meant to leave a second source ([interview that features him discussing his 2nd Amendment views]), but to be honest, I like the way it is now (with your edits) better. His sword collection and custom gun habits are far more interesting I think and also more unique and noteworthy than any of the other stuff I had originally. Thanks for cleaning that up, and cheers! Kit Steinkellner

edit

Hi, I was reviewing Draft:Kit Steinkellner, and I saw that the citation that supports that she was raised in Santa Barbara, California does not appear to mention her name or that location. Am I missing something? Thanks for your work on it so far. Kees08 (Talk) 17:13, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Kees08: Hey! Thanks so much for reviewing the page, and also for finding that incorrect source! I'm not sure if I just pasted the wrong link, or if it's re-directing to the wrong story now since it's an old article, but either way, I went ahead and made an edit on the draft and replaced it with a correct source. Thanks for the help! Cheers Hinckleycoldstorage (talk) 20:37, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
No worries. Looks good to me now. A couple of tips if you feel like improving it further: the references go after punctuation, so ,[1] and not [1],
Also, you should cite where her age/date of birth came from, or remove it. That tends to be pretty contentious if it is uncited. Other than that, seems fine to me. Thanks for your good efforts, and apologies it took so long for it to get reviewed! Kees08 (Talk) 14:58, 23 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Withnail and I, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Duplass brothers (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

May 2021

Hello, I'm Muboshgu. Your recent edit to the page Tim Tebow appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 22:23, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Muboshgu, I know we already discussed all this on your talk page, but just wanted to follow-up here to close the loop and thank you for correcting my mistake and also for showing me the proper sports transaction etiquette over at Wikipedia:WikiProject Sports/Handling sports transactions. Will be better prepared for next time! Cheers. Hinckleycoldstorage (talk) 23:32, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Happy to help. These pending transactions issues come up so often we had to draft a protocol. – Muboshgu (talk) 00:59, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
