- OK, thanks for your explanation. To help you understand my concern: You see, each day there are hundreds of new editors which come to Wikipedia with the sole intent of promoting their company, product, concept, band, or themselves, sometimes there are not enough experienced editors around to try and uphold the "neutral point of view" principle.
- In a general article like Geodemographic segmentation it is tempting for companies to add something about their own product (I understand that at least some of these classifications are not open standards, but owned by a company). And it shows in non-encyclopedic marketing language like this from the current version: ...the world's leading suite of consumer classifications and are used by hundreds of global companies including three of the world's top five organisations.
- However, I have to admit that the content you added about GeoSmart is written in a somehow more neutral fashion. Still, the question has to be asked: Which are the systems that are most notable and merit mention in this article?
- Also, please make sure you cite your sources and describe the information you take from them in your own words. Some of your additions here (namely, the "Geodemographic systems were first itnroduced ..." part) seem to come almost verbatim from [1] - you added that page to the External links section, but a direct "ref" citation and a rewording would be better.
