The figure of 250,000 looked very suspect to me. On the other hand I have no knowledge of prewar Japanese poetry publishing (only mere hunches).
The English article could be a lot better; for example, talking about 新万葉集. But with my lack of materials and ignorance of Japanese poetry, I'm not the best editor for this job. -- Hoary (talk) 22:20, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hello, Hoary. Thank you for your comment and correcting my poor English. 250,000 copies is widely used also in Japan but its base looks very weak.
- Since 新万葉集 (Shin Man'yōshū) was published in 1937 it is difficult to access to it---in many cases users are restricted themselves to reading it only in libraries even in Japan so that you should not worry about it. --HinokisOfRoma (talk) 14:51, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
