Nice Find

edit

Nice find. Perhaps I got distracted or something. Thanks for reminding me though! Btw, I left a note on his talk explaining that if he requests unblock a third time then his right to edit his talk should be revoked for the duration of his block. So if you see him requesting it, please either inform me (if I'm awake), or find another available admin! :-) Thanks again. ScarianCall me Pat! 02:29, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dispute Resolution

edit

I wondering if you would be interested in undergoing formal Dispute Resolution, instead of participating in these edit wars, which have continually proved that they solve nothing. There are clearly two sides to this matter. A more experienced and higher level administrator is needed to solve this problem. I will not request resolution until you and several other users support the idea. Standleylake40 (talk) 00:14, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Hippo doesn't need U, the U(FL) needs the Hippo. See the sweetness he brought to Michael Huyghue. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.214.72.115 (talk) 00:16, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

CART season names

edit

I've started a talk section on this at the American Opel Wheel project page, but the reason the CART season articles are generically titled is so that non-points scoring races can be included in the article, hence the term 'season' at the end of it. If you change the article name to the specific name of the points series, then a) you have to take off the term 'season' and b) you would have to remove all coverage of non-points scoring races.

I would like to see all those series names reverted, but I have started the chat on the project page, so as many opinions as possible can be heard. --Falcadore (talk) 01:24, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

United Football League (2009) team infobox template

edit

I noticed the Hartford Colonials unveiled their logo and colors today...unfortunately, I have no idea how to access the color codes so that the Colonials team infobox can have these colors. Since you created the template, would you mind helping me out here? Thanks, 205.213.211.198 (talk) 17:17, 24 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

1905 AAA championship

edit

I see you are the creator of the 1905 AAA season page. I have been doing some research into the AAA sanctioning era of AOWR and would like to do a major overhaul of your page as a result. Mainly I would like to change the name of the page to -1905 AAA National Track Championship- but still have the AAA navbox link to your page from 1905. The 1905 season was not a championship season in the full sense as 1916 was the first to include road courses, brick, board, concrete, and dirt ovals. 1905 was exclusively dirt ovals. I am trying to fill holes in early AOWR sanctioned by AAA and would like to make this distinction. I created 1909, 1910, and 1911 if you are interested in checking them out. I am tackling 1920 next here or here (depending on when you link to it) Your input would be wonderful. Thanks!!Ehall317 (talk) 21:14, 7 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
