Hello, I'm GiantSnowman. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Maurice Bunyan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GiantSnowman 18:28, 9 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi there - do you have a website/book we can use as a citation? GiantSnowman 19:00, 9 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I have used this for the Bunyan brothers. GiantSnowman 19:21, 9 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you do more then is better i stop the information and do only in Dutch and then is there different information. I dit research and Jef Vliers is alone topscorer, Van Gool have 24 goals ....Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Georges Pelgrims, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 17:43, 10 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Georges Pelgrims. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 17:43, 10 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Look Dutch version, is my own work the full history of Belgium Football :-) I can not enter Belgiumsoccerhistory since 2009. So can not put any links.— Preceding unsigned comment added by HistoricusBelgium (talkcontribs) 13:45, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did on Jacques Moeschal (footballer). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. GiantSnowman 14:53, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

You want to see the born acte of him, i am from Belgium and i know his birthday, and his grandchild is friend on facebook. Then you hold the wrong birthday,i DONT CARE ANYMORE..........— Preceding unsigned comment added by HistoricusBelgium (talkcontribs) 10:27, 22 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi HistoricusBelgium. Let me try to clear a few things up.

Look Dutch version We cannot rely on other Wikipedia articles for our sourcing; see WP:CIRCULAR.

i am from Belgium and i know his birthday, and his grandchild is friend on Facebook. We also cannot rely on the personal knowledge of our editors for sourcing. See this quote from Wikipedia:Verifiability: "Wikipedia does not publish original research. Its content is determined by previously published information rather than the beliefs or experiences of editors. Even if you are sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it.".

For footballer data such as dates of birth, number of appearances for a club etc. we usually rely on databases known for their accuracy such as worldfootball.net and soccerway.com. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Links for more useful sources. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 16:32, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
