Hello History Ohio tv,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Fred ricart for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. --Richard Yin (talk) 19:14, 6 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Regarding Fred ricart

edit

In my opinion the article you wrote is unsalvageably full of promotional language, for example:

"If you ask around Central Ohio it wont be long before you will hear the stories of Dealin’ Fred Ricart"

"over 1000 commercials"

"People always talk about"

"trusty 6 string guitars"

"for all of Columbus to hear"

"love to swing their arm"

"almost as widely known as Fred’s face is!"

"much more to Fred Ricart than meets the eye"

"America’s largest"

And that's the first 3 out of 22 lines on my web browser; I could continue much further if I needed to. Making it worse is the fact that the article makes many claims but never backs up a single one with a reference to any source. I would advise you to read Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:Notability, and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view before you write another article. --Richard Yin (talk) 20:20, 6 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
