Actually that would make his family (or technically the family member who took the picture) the source, and that should have been mentioned on the image page along with an appropriate copyright tag.

Unfortunately I was not the person who actually deleted that file, so I have not made a backup copy of it, but if you still have access to the image feel free to re-upload it. Just make sure all the relevant information is present on the image description page this time, along with what kind of license the image is under (is the family willing to release it under GFDL, or creative commons or some such license, or does it remain copyrighed? If copyrighted I'd suggest using the {{Non-free fair use in|Randy Burridge}} {{withpermission}} combo (if you indeed have permission, otherwise skip the withpermission bit), and include a short rationale (see Image description page#Fair use rationale).

Thanks for uploading Image:Stumps3.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Traynor your vandalisim of the Randy Burridge page will not be tolerated. i have built & maintained thsi page for over 3 years. you do not have the right to strip important information given about this NHL legends NHL career. The Dufrense Trophy infomation was a good add...but changing the article to a basic boring vanilla article that does not accurately tell the story of this guy is wrong!!! You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. On YOUR Randy Burridge page? Sorry, this is Wikipedia's Randy Burridge page, and I strongly suggest you review WP:OWN. Further, on every single edit page the following Wikipedia caution comes up "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly by others, do not submit it." Did you miss that? Wikipedia's rules against putting in personal commentary apply, and you've been repeatedly reverted by several editors. If you want to set up a Burridge fanboy page, I'm sure you can find a webhost for it, but here is not the place to do it.  Ravenswing  17:47, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
