==Recent nominations for deletion==
Hi Hotmann,
Thanks for your recent comments on my talk page.
Firstly, I created an article for Carryl Varley mainly due to discovering the Quiz TV article which I found by way of another article. I initially made the article because she was the singer Jinny in the 90's. I was unaware that other women have been connected to the singer name Jinny, my fault I guess, but as far as I was aware from seeing Carryl Varley on various channels and through other sources, Carryl Varley is Jinny, and she STILL performs on occasion as that stage name singing in UK clubs. There was even a link to the video of her biggest hit single on youtube, but of course it was removed recently due to copyright. I'm looking for other references.
I nominated 2 (and continued someone else's 1 nomination) on 3 TGBBQ presenters for AfD due to there being virtually no information whatsoever showing any relevance to hold an article of their own. If they were kept after AfD, then fair play and I've now actually updated the Quiz TV article to include the information that it should of included before.
As far as editing other presenters articles to belittle their status by changing names of channels & changing "main presenter" to less important sounding phrases - I think you'll find that is a false accusation you've made there.
Like yourself?, I'm from the UK, and like countless others who edit these types of articles (for example ITV Play, TGBBQ, etc.) on Wikipedia. And as a casual viewer of these channels, and the people on them. What little edits that I have made, I can't see any comments in them to make you assume any wrong motives - I have only in fact, just updated them, and now more to the facts. There's many users who contribute to the wiki articles of the UK quiz genre, and as far as I can see, they haven't seen my edits with any wrong motive.
On whether Elisa Portelli has a far greater claim to a wikipedia entry than Caryl Varley or not. Well, that's debatable. Looking at it, both have an old connection to the 90's music scene, and both now work for various minor British channels (one which is due to close shortly). But as I didn't think so, I nominated EP for AfD - and as it turns out, someone nominated my CV for AfD. It's not up to me to decide what people vote to keep or not in AfD. As for the IP address editing the Carryl Varley article, I haven't a clue tbh. I've checked, and it only edited a spelling mistake.
As for what's classed as minor edits or not, and other slight concerns mentioned - guilty as charged, I'm afraid - I'm still new to this, and learning how to do things.
As for nominating deletions - Well, I looked in the guidelines, and followed what it said. I didn't know that there was an unwritten rule stating that new users making AfD's was looked down upon by some members. I had article concerns, and thought that I went about it in the right way. Unfortunately, I had some minor attacking comments made towards me. And I must admit, that I have felt it slightly unfair that I was openly being attacked and seemingly having my motives questioned. I can assure you, and others that it just isn't the case at all.
Thanks,

I replied to your talk page about this. You are a new user under this particular alias so maybe what you say is true. If you had used one of the usernames you have used before and made more edits with you might not have been attacked.Hotmann 13:39, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
