editHello, I'm Peculiar Undertone. I noticed that in this edit to Miles Boykin, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Peculiar Undertone (talk) 01:39, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Lamarcus Joyner does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Hey man im josh (talk) 02:07, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hey man im josh (talk) 02:27, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Template:Pittsburgh Steelers roster, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. I understand that citations in templates aren't the norm, but you need to provide an edit summary explaining or pointing to where you've found this information. You've having the same issue on a number of your edits. You appear to have good intentions, but you also need to strive to only add verifiable content. editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Tre Nixon, you may be blocked from editing. Bbb23 (talk) 13:06, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
