Hello, Hoyalawya, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Center of Concern, have removed content without an explanation. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can place {{helpme}} on your talk page along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. It's a bad idea to edit an article when you're a member of the subject

  Hello, Hoyalawya. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Center of Concern, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 02:26, 6 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, I'm C.Fred. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Center of Concern because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. The text you added to the article reads like it was copied from the group's website. Worse, you deleted all of the formatting and footnotes in the article.C.Fred (talk) 02:27, 6 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Center of Concern. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you.   Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Center of Concern with this edit, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 02:42, 6 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:59, 6 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Result of the edit warring complaint about Center of Concern

edit

Please see this complaint at the edit warring noticeboard, which has now been closed by an administrator. You appear to have a conflict of interest with respect to this article. You are warned against making any further edits to the article, though you can add your opinions at Talk:Center of Concern. Another discussion took place at the ANI noticeboard, since it was believed you had made a legal threat by mentioning 'legal liability' in an edit summary. That issue now appears resolved. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 18:22, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
