Speedy deletion nomination of Chain gang (Rap Group)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Chain gang (Rap Group) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. BigDwiki (talk) 17:18, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your comments, which you added in discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Elijah Ramos. Please note that, on Wikipedia, consensus is determined by discussion, not voting, and it is the quality of the arguments that counts, not the number of people supporting a position. Repost of Elijah Ramos
edit A tag has been placed on Elijah Ramos requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. edit"i have talked to corporate and they are allowing me to keep this page"? Who is or what are 'corporate'? The article was deleted after a consensus was reached in discussion here on Wikipedia. There is no 'corporate' here that can over-ride that. If you are referring to people outside Wikipedia, then I must tell you that those people have no authority to 'allow' anything here - or to disallow it either. As an administrator here, I would suggest that you don't repost the same article. If and when there is sufficient to pass our notability and referencing policies, then I would advise asking for advice from an experienced Wikipedian. If you repost it now, it is likely to be regarded as disruptive editing or vandalism, and that could lead to blocking and having the article title protected from re-creation. I've just seen your message, and if you have this permission (which I doubt), produce evidence. Who did you talk to? And where? There is no Wikipedia Corporation, but there is a Foundation that only intervenes in article matters where an article must be taken down for legal reasons (assuming we haven't already got rid of it...). WikiMedia is the host and they do not interfere with the policies or content here, except for legal matters. Peridon (talk) 17:33, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- As you've reposted it, I've protected the title from re-creation pending evidence being produced that you indeed have permission from a Wikipedia authority to repost an article deleted after an Articles for Discussion debate. Peridon (talk) 17:47, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Good luck with the acting, and when you're getting some real roles and fame, with WP:RS references to prove it, get in touch with me (or almost any active admin) and show us what you've got. If it's good enough, the article can easily be unprotected by an admin. Sorry to be a bit hard on you above, but we have to have evidence of things here. As soon as you can, get an IMDb page. It won't help here to have one, but not having one is a killer. It helps to have it when getting more (and better) work. Once again, good luck. That's needed as much as talent. Disambiguation link notification for December 4
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Scott Adkins, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Doctors, PKA and Wushu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
