AfD Listing process
editContinuing the discussion here, as a lost AfD page isn't really the place for it. The full process is at WP:AFDHOWTO. It looks like you did step 1, but not steps 2 & 3. We actually have mechanisms for fixing it automatically if you miss or mess up step 1 or 3, but without the template being used on the discussion page in step 2, neither of them work. I think the process is pretty well explained in that section, so I'm not going to try to repeat it in my own words, but I can answer any questions you have. Monty845 23:35, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

editI see are you are continuing to vandalise the above article which I've been amending. I believe the reasons I have amended some of your text is clear for all to see. please can you explain to me which parts of my amendments you are objecting to and why. 2001:8A0:7BDD:FA01:DA9:A4FF:AEED:46A6 (talk) 20:44, 25 June 2017 (UTC)

The AfD for Surval Montreux has been fixed and now can be found at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Surval Montreux. I didn't copy over your comments from Talk:Surval Montreux to there, but you should feel free to do so if you want to. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 00:50, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. Hunc (talk) 10:31, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
Princess Camilla
editPlease do not continue to blank this page and change it to a redirect (as you did here: [1], [2]) without obtaining consensus on the article talk page. This is a well referenced article that seems to have been in existence for almost 10 years. Blanking pages can be considered a form of disruptive editing, and I am guessing it is not your intent to be disruptive. Thanks. ----Steve Quinn (talk) 05:57, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
- This is best discussed at the talk page, which at the moment consists mostly of longstanding calls for the article to be changed to a redirect. I look forward to your comments there. Hunc (talk) 16:37, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon
editI think perhaps this page (Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon )may also meet the same problems as that of her mother, clearly a self promoting article and with no notability requirements met that I can see CaribbeanTruth (talk) 22:19, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- I think you're right. The SPA Borbone2016 has edited nowhere else, and I strongly suspect more CoI editing. Some of the IP additions also look ducky. I've made a brief comment on the talk page. Hunc (talk) 06:56, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
Page creator here. Please see my comment in the talk section regarding the speedy deletion. I'm sorry that bots have been editing my page. How is it self-promotion though? That's one thing I don't understand.

What happened here? "removed material with no or inappropriate references", you literally left the page with a one sentence lede and no references. I'd hazard a guess that you haven't seen Shortened Footnotes before. However, it is a perfectly legitimate citation strategy, and is rather common on larger articles that reference sources many times, especially if they cite different pages of the same book. ∰Bellezzasolo✡ Discuss 21:06, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
- Removed material with inappropriate references - I did take the time to read them. Let us continue this discussion on the appropriate talk page. Hunc (talk) 21:09, 22 October 2018 (UTC)

editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in climate change. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

editDarul Huda Islamic University
edit"................. However the UGC, India's only official body with the power to accredit universities, does not list it as a university.. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs."
Since, DHIU is a private islamic university, it doesn't need ugc accredition. so, this sentence can be removed. Pardon me if I'm wrong. Tinkvu (talk) 19:16, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
- We make no assertion about whether Darul Huda Islamic Academy needs accreditation from the University Grants Commission (India). We just point out that it doesn't have it. Hunc (talk) 19:47, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
Recent edit reversion
editIn this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.
I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.
I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 12:12, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
