File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:ReCell-kit-2.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Copyright violations

The article Recell has been deleted for mass copyright violations. All the information you had on the page where lifted from various websites that are clearly marked as copyright, and not released on those pages under the appropriate licenses. Therefore their inclusion on Wikipedia is not allowed, as has been pointed out before. Canterbury Tail talk 12:51, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of ReCell Autologous Spray-On Skin

A tag has been placed on ReCell Autologous Spray-On Skin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Girl_facial_hyperpigmentation_6_mo_post-ReCell.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

deletion of post

I believe this article warrants inclusion as it does to things: 1. is probably the most comprehensive discussion of burns treatment on wikipedia (note links to other wiki pages) which is very valuable and provides numerous cited references. 2. provides information about a technology that is being widely used and of considerable interest to burn victims. I agree that sites such as [Honda Integra], [Dell] or [LifeCell] are company promoting ... but they're still up.

not sure how to respond. there is no question but that spray on skin is an important technology to burn victims. there is only 1 product that has made this a workable technology. I'd be delighted to delete any reference to the company Avita - in fact i put in those references in response to another reviewer's comments about source. If you feel that this is too much of an 'infomercial' how can it be corrected? and as per my last response, go to [Honda Integra] - is this not a blatant advert for a product in the guise of a 'car fanciers' or 'history of a particular make of automobile' article?

If you are intent on re-creating the article, I suggest that you do so first in a user subpage, like the existing User:Hvalfisken/ReCell Autologous Spray-On Skin (delete the redirect code first though), and then ask at WP:FEED for it to be reviewed. One example of the "hallmarks" I was referring to is the proliferation of the circle-R symbol - that is usually a sign that the text is at least based on materials from the manufacturer, even if not a copyvio thereof (and see also WP:MOSTM). When it comes to sources, please note that references to the company's website are not sufficient to demonstrate the notability required by WP:PRODUCT. You need reliable sources of the kind described in WP:RS and WP:IRS. Your access to images from the company may suggest that you have some connection to the company. If so, please read WP:COI. Finally, for now at least, "other stuff exists" is not a helpful argument in these discussions, we are talking about this article. Hope this helps. – ukexpat (talk) 19:15, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link.
