There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:   Fight vandalism   Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome   Help contribute to articles

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Ok IBMcNulty, You're on your way. I like the BBC article because it shows "Significant Coverage" in the international media. You're being a little too selective though right now. Keep on going. What about the other world press freedom organizations? What about other English speaking news? What about foreign news? List of journalists killed in the Mexican Drug War

Hey, IBMcNulty. I was surfing here on Wikipedia and I saw that your worked a lot on the article of a journalist killed in Mexico. You might be interested in this article too: List of journalists killed in the Mexican Drug War. I'm currently working on the lists only, but after that I'll tackle the rest (i.e. why they are targeted; international reactions; Mexico's reactoin; etc.) Keep up the good work on Wikipedia!
