editFact: The average reporter is about as clueless about firearms as they are about quantum physics, but quantum physics doesn't make for exciting headlines. Misinformed statements about firearms happen. Constantly. So there's no point in getting worked up over it. Find an acceptable source, like this one, that correctly names the caliber.
