Very strange Louis Armstrong template
editI really can't think of any purpose for this hybrid template. A filmography template by itself could be useful linking his movies together, a solely discography one the same for his musical works, but why would you ever join the two together in a single template??? Clarityfiend (talk) 13:17, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
The more I think on it, two separate templates don't make much sense either. If a reader wants lists of his works, they already have Louis Armstrong filmography and Louis Armstrong discography. Clarityfiend (talk) 13:21, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Clarityfiend: as I edit primarly on deWP and there it's quite common to insert navboxes in every article that is linked in the box, I thought that it is alike in enWP. So I just wanted a explanation for Special:Diff/1209127996, thank you for that. I don't know if it's better to separate the two templates into filmography/discography, maybe even not because with one navbox the reader gets all articles related to Louis Armstrong with one view...
