- Wikipedia is not a place to write about yourself and your club. Read WP:Your first article, WP:Notability and WP:Autobiography for more advice. It's not enough being a real person; Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a social-networking site like Myspace or Facebook, and it is selective about subjects: they have to be notable, which is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."
