Welcome!

Hello, Ianlee73, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! As I said at the AfC help desk, your draft needs to show that the band has received significant coverage in reliable independent sources, both to establish that the band is notable enough for an article and to allow our readers to verify the article's content. I can't really help you find such sources; Google News came up empty. Huon (talk) 19:54, 20 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation

edit

Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. Please view your submission to see the comments left by the reviewer. You are welcome to edit the submission to address the issues raised, and resubmit if you feel they have been resolved.

None of the links you mentioned would be considered WP:RS. Also, the sources should be in the article, although sites that are closely connected to the subject would not be used to consider notability. LionMans Account (talk) 16:23, 21 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

advice about Order of the Beak

edit

Sorry for the delay, I got confused about who was asking me about what.

The problem with this is very simple. You need references providing substantial coverage about them from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. The best references are reviews of their performances, but not just announcements. If you have them, ad them and ask for another review. If not, you can facilitate matters by placing at the top a line reading : {{db-author}}, and it will be quickly deleted.. When you have the necessary material, then try again. I do not want to discourage you, but to urge you to continue to contribute. DGG ( talk ) 05:17, 29 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Order of the Beak

edit

Hello Ianlee73. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Order of the Beak".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Order of the Beak}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 14:08, 30 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
