Re: Incorrectly tagged as orphan
editBJBot does not check for file links as the the image should be tagged with {{not orphan}} which the bot check for. BJTalk 03:32, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Nazrac.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Nazrac.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. βcommand 22:01, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Please change your bot to check for {{not orphan}} . This image is NOT an orphan. Ibjoe 01:09, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- That template is for free images and is invalid for free images. βcommand 01:43, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
(Template:Orphaned) BetacommandBot 15:39, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- BetacommandBot, for the second time Please change your bot to check for {{not orphan}} . This image is NOT an orphan. Ibjoe 06:25, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ibjoe Please read the templates that you are using, not orphan is only for free images. βcommand 10:42, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
(Template:Orphaned) BetacommandBot 15:25, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- The issue should now be resolved. Melchoir 06:14, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Thank you Melchoir! While I don't understand the Wikipedia policy that non-free-use images must be displayed in the article and not linked, I respect it. So the person who originally edited the article to change the image to a link instead of display created a violation. Anyway, issue is resolved
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:TMEK-StoneWeb2Screen.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:TMEK-StoneWeb2Screen.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:31, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

References
editRemember that when adding medical content please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a build in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. - Ibjoe, did you read the link in my edit summary? [1] The photos contain non-free artwork and need to have a fair use rationale that shows how sourced text necessitates the use of a non-free image. They are currently used as decoration, as the game is already adequately depicted with the main infobox image. czar 21:13, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I read, my perspective is images add value and are allowed under Non-free use rationale guidelines. Please add to the value of the article by adding that? Thanks, Ibjoe (talk) 21:32, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
- It's not a matter of perspective. The policy is designed to minimize non-free images. The article already has two to identify the game and show its gameplay. The others are extraneous and can be communicated through text. They will be deleted if no sources can justify their visualization as essential to understanding the subject. czar 00:20, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't realize goal is to minimize images even if fair use. Agree cabinet shot doesn't add much. "Nazrac" image could be considered relevantly important, as Nazrac is the "top boss" of the game, as noted on the image tag. Maybe we should add more text about the game scenario, the various levels and bosses, etc? We could add "fair use" low resolution screen shots of them. But I don't have that time now. If the top boss screen shot doesn't add value to the article then we should delete it. Oh, wait! I see that Bosses and Meks did used to be in the article. June 2008 someone said they moved them to "StrategyWiki", whatever that is. If that stuff was moved elsewhere, shouldn't there be a link to the new location? I can't find it: "You may create the page 'StrategyWiki', but consider checking the search results"? Ibjoe (talk) 01:39, 28 January 2017 (UTC)

Xena
editWhile the character is a heroine, you need to provide a reliable source that says the character is a superheroine before adding her to the list. The character article doesn't appear to have any sources that support your opinion. Edward321 (talk) 14:12, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
