Malware Wikiproject
editHi Icelilly, and welcome to the Malware wikiproject! I see you have signed up for various wikiprojects, but haven't participated yet. Here are two pages to get you going: Wikipedia:Contributing to Wikipedia and Wikipedia:New contributors' help page. If you have any question, just ask any editor. --DanielPharos (talk) 23:08, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Thank you very much! I've been very busy with school so I haven't done much but I hope to get started soon! Icelilly (talk) 00:49, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi there - welcome to the Userboxes Project!! I think you will find this project is more disorganized, but more fun than some of the more serious projects! It is also nice to see more Wikipedians from Ottawa on the project! Happy boxing! - Ahunt (talk) 01:06, 24 November 2008 (UTC) (also from Ottawa)
Thanks! I look forward to being part of the team! Icelilly (talk) 01:16, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Here is one way you could help out - we are looking for humourous userboxes that people may have made and not listed anywhere. If you are prowling around anyone's user page and see a funny userbox they can be added to the listing at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/humour. - Ahunt (talk) 14:22, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Humorous userboxes? Will do! Icelilly (talk) 21:56, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- I thought you might like that! - Ahunt (talk) 23:02, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

In 2009, WikiProject Years developed a essay for the inclusion of events "recent year" articles.
Important policy discussions took place in January 2009 at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (dates and numbers) and at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Years.

NOTICE to all members of WikiProject Pokémon
editFollowing a discussion on the Project's talk page, we will be updating WikiProject Pokémon's list of participants. To do this, all users previously listed as "Active" have been moved to the "Inactive" list; after this change anyone may add/re-add their name to the "Active" participants list. As your name was one of those on the Active members list, I am notifying you in case your active interest remains. Thank you for your cooperation in our efforts to keep our list of active participants as accurate and up-to-date as possible. ~ Amory (user • talk • contribs) 04:24, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Survey
editHi Icelilly!
I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!
It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!
Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!
Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! SarahStierch (talk) 18:30, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi, since your name's down on this project, I'm just writing to let you know that there's a discussion going on at the moment on how to format events – and in particular, events that go on for multiple days – on year pages. Your input would be appreciated. — Smjg (talk) 18:24, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject Computer Security user status
editHello Icelilly,
I would just like to inquire on your status on WikiProject Computer Security as the list of WikiProject Computer Security/Members is going to be improved to list active and inactive users.
This is update is being done according to a request for comments on the WikiProject Computer Security talk page. Be sure to state your status at the User status section in the WikiProject Computer Security talk page before the end of four weeks as this will state your status as inactive in the project if not done before then.
New 10,000 Challenge for Canada
editHi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Canada/The 10,000 Challenge is up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge for the UK which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. If you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Canada like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1600 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for Canada but fuelled by a contest such as The North America Destubathon to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. I would like some support from Canadian wikipedians here to get the Challenge off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile! Cheers. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:55, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
