Sorry. I was just trying to undo an error in an edit and didn't know how to restore to what had been there. I removed my question about this because in re-reading the notice I saw that I have a week not a day to fix it, and I'm sure that the photographer and the tech guys at the office can help, when I have time to ask them. Pictures uploaded to Wikipedia need to be under a free content license, under which anyone can use the file for any purpose, including commercial redistribution. If your group wishes to release the file under a free license, the copyright holder of the picture (e.g. the photographer) will need to provide the Wikimedia Foundation proof that the file is under a free license by following the instructions at the declaration of consent for all enquiries. Thanks for uploading File:Cole Durham.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.

If the photographer has sent enough permission to the permissions e-mail address, it may takes up to 3 weeks to be processed. Once that is done then the OTRS volunteer will request undelete of the image. If nothing happens within a month then raise the issue at WP:OTRSN.  Ronhjones  ^(Talk) 23:06, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

Could we instead just upload the photo again and do it right this time? The photographer gave his permission in the first place (he is OUR photographer - place where I work and where subject of the article (Cole Durham) is director), and he tried to fix the permissions for me after I loaded it. At the same time, he sent the permission by informal e-mail ... this was long before the deletion occurred. Iclrsddt (talk) 23:40, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
