Proposed Deletion
editHello Idevj, this is a heads up that a page you authored has been proposed for deletion == Proposed deletion of Sheila Singh ==
The article Sheila Singh has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This non-notable biography, written as a classroom exercise, is based entirely on the subject's outdated, non-reliable personal website that wasn't current even at the time the page was authored. The multiple "citations" in References section are actually simple duplications of the entries in the Publications section.WP:ACADEMIC: "Having published work does not, in itself, make an academic notable, no matter how many publications there are. Notability depends on the impact the work has had on the field of study. This notability guideline specifies criteria for judging the notability of an academic through reliable sources for the impact of their work."Non-reliable source WP:RS/SPS WP:BLOGS: "Never use self-published sources as third-party sources about living people, even if the author is an expert, well-known professional researcher, or writer."
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.Lapabc (talk) 17:11, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
