Hello. A renamer or clerk has responded to your username change request, but requires clarification before moving forward. Please follow up at your username change request entry as soon as possible. Thank you. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 12:35, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Hello User:K6ka how do I do that? I think I am quite lost in navigating within Wiki
~~iDream3~~
- Hi IDream3 (or iDream3...). Just click here to see the archived request and comments. Yunshui 雲水 09:54, 3 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
- Also, to expand a bit on what DoRD said there - Wikipedia pages - and thus your username - have to start with a capital letter, it's just how the software works. However, there are a couple of workarounds you can use. If you add the code
lowercase title
to this page and your userpage, it will make the title at the top of the page start with a lowercase "i". You can also go to your preferences page and change your signature so that it appears in lowercase when you sign your name on talkpages. To do this, go to the section marked "Signature" and add the following:
iDream3 (talk/contribs)
- in the signature box. Tick the box that says "Treat the above as wiki markup" and save the page at the bottom. Your signature will now look like this: iDream3 (talk/contribs) (the username is red because you haven't yet created your userpage). Let me know if you need any further help.
