Speedy deletion nomination of Easton Junior-Senior High School

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Easton Junior-Senior High School requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Houlton High School

edit

Hello Igotrekt,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Houlton High School for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 11:07, 17 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please learn how to create a Wikipedia page

Your three pages don't contain almost any informations, no references. Xx236 (talk) 11:11, 17 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Context

edit

Please consider making your articles a bit longer, and adding more information to give readers context. Your articles Central Aroostook High School and Houlton High School are barely long enough to be acceptable (see guidelines at WP:STUB). I had to tag Easton Junior-Senior High School for speedy deletion as it provided absolutely no context.

Thanks, Passengerpigeon (talk) 11:11, 17 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Disabling bots

edit

Do not disable bots as you did here[1] without a very good reason for doing so. Normally bots are disabled only after first reporting a problem to the operator, and if it's so serious that it is impacting many articles. Otherwise it's just disruptive. -- GreenC 17:35, 4 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edit to Seafood restaurant appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. ☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 18:45, 4 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
