You say you created that account to run a bot; may I direct you to WP:BOTS? That page contains all bit of info you need to legitimately run a bot (accounts performing automated tasks without prior approval may be summarily blocked by any administrator). Salvio Let's talk 'bout it! 13:36, 7 August 2010 (UTC) ok thanks for your help iliija.milcinoski (talk) 13:53, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

BRFA

edit

Hi! If you wish to make a request for approval for a bot account, please follow the steps at WP:BRFA; do not reopen an archived request at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/milcinoski. Also make sure the bot is named correctly (WP:BOTPOL: "The account's name should identify the operator or bot function. Additionally, it should be immediately clear that its edits are made by an automated account; this is usually accomplished by including the word "Bot" at the beginning or end of the username.") and keep in mind WP:BOTNOTNOW. Translating

edit

Hi Ilija: Thanks for Brokmerbrief - it's an interesting and notable topic. However, please, please do not upload machine translations. This one was so bad, it got slapped with a WP:PROD tag because an editor found it impossible to understand what it was about. I see that you previously uploaded an article on Roswell, New Mexico - but it got deleted because it was misspelled Rozvel and was very unclear - another machine translation is my guess. Machine translations can be useful for researching a topic, but they are never a good idea for articles, because the reader will not be able to understand them. A better idea would be to request an article, or better yet, write a short draft in your own words and submit it at WP:Articles for creation, where you will receive advice on improving it and it will not be at risk of being deleted fast. I have started fixing Brokmerbrief, but it could have been deleted, and that would have been sad. Yngvadottir (talk) 15:34, 12 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
