Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. CardinalDan (talk) 04:22, 7 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Regarding Flatlined

edit

Twice now you've removed tags from the page pointing out it's lack of references and NPOV issues. Unless you plan to fix these issues, leave the tags. Please reference the article, preferably with links to the magazines/external articles that have written about the band. Further, the quotes and flowery language are unnecessary and only leave the article feeling extremely non-neutral. CiTrusD Talk here! 05:49, 7 May 2008 (UTC) Reply

A tag has been placed on Flatlined, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

Given how much you love this band, it appears that you are not capable of writing an impartial, encyclopedic article about them. I would advise that you concentrate on other tasks here (try clicking the "Random article" button and seeing what you can help with), and instead request a new article about them at WP:REQUESTS. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:05, 7 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
