Hi

[edit source]

icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Tunnel boring machine, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 12:16, 28 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at WAGO GmbH, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. CONFUSED SPIRIT(Thilio).Talk 13:44, 30 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi Im tau. Thank you for your work on WAGO 221. Another editor, Mariamnei, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thank you for your work on this article. Unfortunately, it is not yet ready for main space. Please add secondary sources and establish notability as per WP:NPRODUCT. I will be moving it to draft. Please feel free to republish once it meets the above criteria. Thanks and have a good day!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Mariamnei}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@Mariamnei: Hi! I've expanded the draft by adding a detailed variants section, and additional references. Would you mind taking another look to see whether it is now suitable for mainspace? im_tau (talk) 15:25, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your improvements. There are certainly some secondary sources now, it's hard for me to tell if it is enough for notability but I think it is ok. I do strongly recommend improving the citation style. I generally recommend using the {{cite web}}: Empty citation (help) template. Thanks and have a great day! Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edits you made did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

or in the visual editor:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Describe what you changed

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. If you use a registered account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences Editing Editor Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! DoubleGrazing (talk) 05:54, 12 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Feedback
The reviewer, Sulfurboy, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
This draft reads like an advertisement. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a platform for promotion or marketing. Drafts that are exclusively promotional may be deleted without notice.

Wikipedia articles must be written neutrally in a formal, impersonal, and dispassionate way. They should not read like a blog post, advertisement, or fan page. Rewrite the draft to remove:

Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.

If you have a conflict of interest (e.g. you are the subject, an employee, or a relative) or are being paid to edit, you must disclose this to comply with Wikipedia's Terms of Use.

  • Edit Draft:Pay with a Smile to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.

Too much detail on how to use the system, rather than about its implications. Don't tell us how to use it (WP:NOTMANUAL).

Need references that say more than that the system was launched. Have comparisons of it with previous systems been published? What have its effects been? Have there been criticisms? Privacy concerns?

Between references 6 and 7 are a bunch of non-numbered references; please either use or remove.

Please use template /sandbox pages for testing

[edit source]

I noticed that you recently broke {{infobox element}} without testing in the /sandbox, and you have made far too many edits to the live template at {{Infobox electronic component}} in an apparent attempt to fix issues. When you make an error like this in a live template that is used in 100+ articles, that error appears immediately on every one of those 100+ articles. That is not good.

Please copy the content of the live template to the template's /sandbox page (there is a link at the bottom of the documentation), then use the /testcases page to test your changes. Only when you have fixed all issues with the /sandbox page and are ready to deploy should the changes be discussed at the template's talk page, or in rare cases, moved directly to the live template. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:36, 26 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

I have also reverted your non-WikidataIB calls in those infobox templates, per the long-standing RFC about Wikidata in infoboxes. See Module:WikidataIB. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:45, 26 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
