Does anyone know how I can change the color and font for my signature? Also, I'd like to create an archive for my talk page, how do I do that? Imabored1 (talk) 22:56, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
- For the signature, please see Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing_your_signature. The link talks about what types of changes are possible, where to make them, and what to avoid. There are different ways to create an archive for a talk page. This link talks about how to create an archive for a talk page, but may be too complicated to understand all at once. Here are a few questions to consider before making your archive:
- Do you want a Wikipedia bot to automatically archive the talk page for you? Or would you like to perform the archive manually (i.e. copy and paste old messages onto the archive page)
- Do you want a small box on your talk page that serves a menu bar to conveniently access older archive pages?
Please let me know how you want your talk page to be; in case I'm not around to check your response, simply replace the help me helped template that I have replaced your help me template with to notify users that I have helped you to help me to notify users that you need help again. Thanks; hope I helped. --JustBerry (talk) 23:04, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, I checked out the page and am getting to it! For the archive, I'd prefer to manually archive messages and I don't really want a menu bar style. Is there a way to just make a small box that says "Archives" with an icon next to it or something that serves as a link only? Imabored1 (talk) 23:12, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
- Check out the {{Archive box}} template. Huon (talk) 23:30, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
