Your submission at Articles for creation: Episcopal Migration Ministries (April 30)
editHi WikiDan61 - I'm somewhat new to this. Can you please explain why this page was rejected? This organization is one of nine organizations that are contracted by the federal government to resettle refugees. Seven of these nine already have Wikipedia pages, so I'm confused as to why this one would be rejected. Is it a sourcing issue?

- I apologize for the confusion: your page has been declined, not rejected. (This is an error with the Wikipedia helper scripts running under Internet Explorer.) The difference is that a rejected draft has been assessed as having little to no hope of ever becoming acceptable, whereas a declined draft is merely deemed as not yet ready for publication. In the case of your draft, you have written a mere one-sentence description of the subject agency as one of nine agencies that perform a particular service for the US government. This, in itself, is not notable. Also, you have cited the US government agency's website as proof of this claim. While that source can be assumed to be reliable (i.e. we can assume that the facts presented are correct), it does not represent significant coverage of the agency. In order to be acceptable for publication at Wikipedia, we need evidence that this organization has been the subject of significant coverage in independent media. Given the nature of the organization and the service it provides, it is not unlikely that you'll be able to find such coverage, but until you do, the draft is not yet ready to be published.
