Hello, Indonesiainfo24, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

SEA Games 2023

edit

Please, kindly do not add or change content, as you did at 2023 SEA Games specifically the medal tally, without citing a reliable source. I have provided the primary source there and you keep ignoring and inflating the gold medals of Indonesian team. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mfikriansori (talk) 16:40, 13 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dear @Indonesiainfo24, thank you for such a kind contribution towards the article of 2023 SEA Games. However, you keep reverting other edits that stated the medals of Indonesian contingent based on the primary reliable source. As stated on the medal tally's specific page, Indonesia per 22:30:00 has collected 67 gold medals, not 69. Thank you.
Please, do not change content without citing a reliable source. Thank you. Mfikriansori (talk) 15:34, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
hello, there are a number of matches that have not been included in the gold medal tally for Indonesia such as the Indonesian women's basketball team, PUBG esports, and one medal from wrestling sports which may not have been updated on the website. Indonesiainfo24 (talk) 16:00, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Regardless of whether that is true, if we’re going to include medal counts, they have to be from a reliable source. The official website is automatically a reliable primary source, even if it lags behind a bit on updates; personal knowledge of any one editor is not a reliable source.
Again, please limit any updates to the medal counts to whatever is verifiable. — Garrett W. { } 01:36, 16 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello Indonesiainfo24! Your additions to Medan Marelan have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 15:30, 30 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Don't be selfish, these two reference links don't tell you that it comes from Malaysia, this sport definitely comes from Southeast Asia, not just Malaysia, but the ancient Malay civilization. Indonesiainfo24 (talk) 00:34, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please note that we have article on Sepak raga and Sepak takraw, whereas the later is modern version of Sepak Raga with rules standardized in 1960 meeting in Kuala Lumpur (see Sepak takraw#Standardization). Ckfasdf (talk) 13:43, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
There are no references that state that sepak takraw originates from Malaysia, but rather that the sport dates back to the Malay Archipelago era Indonesiainfo24 (talk) 14:16, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
It seems you are fail to distinguish Sepak raga and Sepak takraw, Sepak Raga is ancient sport that dates back to Malay archipelago era. Sepak Takraw is modern sport and its rules was standardized in 1960 meeting in Kuala Lumpur. Indonesia representative is also present during that meeting, see 1, 2. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Thoriq Alkatiri, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Arad. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, I'm JalenBarks. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification (AFC) seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jalen Barks (Woof) 13:25, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

There have been two cases of cheating at Bahrain's home ground, Bahrain appears to have cheated against other Asian teams, you need to know that the AFC president is also from Bahrain, which is why the case has been so popular that not only the countries involved have protested, but other countries have also highlighted the oddities committed by Bahrain. Indonesiainfo24 (talk) 15:03, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
The recent edit was better, but still not well aligned with what was verifiable, actually contained in the reference. That component, subject to some additional copyedit, does meet WP:NPOV. Opinions that are not referenced, including relating to the referree or as above to the nationality of the AFC President, are speculative, and don't belong within an encyclopedia.   Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Tijjani Reijnders. edit

Hi! Thanks for your contributions to Liam Payne. I noticed you had changed "died after falling" to "died after suicide". It's currently not confirmed that Liam died from suicide, and the sources cited for that sentence don't claim a specific cause of death. I have changed it back to the previous wording. Please make sure to add reliable sources for any additions to articles, and especially for living persons or people who have recently died. Thesixthstaff (talk) 17:44, 17 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have temporarily moved this article to draft because, election results haven't been officially announced. Per sources i found, it was a "quick count" and that doesn't sum up to reliable.
