Re: Orchid (album)

edit

Please stop adding lead/rhythm guitar to Orchid (album). Saying that both members play both lead and rhythm guitar is unnecessary and redundant – if both members play both positions, then just say "guitars". I have explained this to you already. Blocked as a sockpuppet

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Are you serious? I'm getting blocked all for a user name switch that I didn't really know about? You should block Nymfm or whatever that persons name is for removing my great edits and tons of work destroyed by that user which hurts the site and other people who'd like to learn from this site. I have been on this site for years and I apologize I'm not master of this site. My edits is going to be chosen over a misunderstanding towards user names? Give me this one so I can stick to it because it's become more clear than ever to not change user names. I'm not even getting a chance to be off this site for 6 months in order to come back. I'm not getting any fair chances. Its like, I screwed up on chance and that's it. Ridiculous, if I don't get a chance than at least I would like this message across even though there's people out there who don't care. Ingardot (talk) 22:54, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

After several years of sockpuppetry and a dozen or so blocks for it You innocent routine is a bit hard to swallow. If you still don't understand what it is you have been doing wrong there is even less reason to even consider unblocking you. Beeblebrox (talk) 00:50, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Well, Beeblebrox (even though I'm trying to respond to you and hope that you see this and others) that was a less harsh response I've gotten before. I'm not trying to be innocent here. I made tons of mistakes (like other humans) and this is not me trying to persuade to being unblock although that would be great and at least get a consideration but by doing multiple sock puppetry but what else could do other than sorry? How can I help to repay for all that? I thought I would repay back with good edits. Nobody wants to hear my sorrys. That's ok I'm not looking for sympathy (even while saying that).Ingardot (talk) 06:54, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately, your edits haven't been very good. Despite years of explanations on how to better edit articles (from myself and other editors), you continue to make the same substandard edits you've always made. You generally don't make those edits on articles in my watchlist any more, but you've made them to other articles I don't watch (for example, looking at your user contributions, you still collapse track listings that don't need to be collapsed [1], despite my linking to guidelines stating this is unnecessary). Also your repeated attempts to add unnecessary, redundant information to Orchid (album).
If you had shown the ability to grow as an editor, you probably wouldn't be banned right now. As it is, this is less to do with you changing usernames (although that is a big problem) and more to do with the fact that your edits aren't good enough for Wikipedia, and aren't likely to become so any time soon. This is why you are banned from Wikipedia, not just any one username. Perhaps you could find another wiki online, for Swedish death metal bands or for MMA fighters, and edit that? Most unofficial wikis aren't overly concerned with guidelines and policies like Wikipedia is. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 14:18, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
Well, I feel that is wrong. My edits have CORRECT info directly from official sites. I'm also against redundancy so I duno wat ur talking about. Collapsed trax were just for the page space and since there are multiple issues of an album the page would go on and on but since wiki policies are so strict towards things like that it's insane as it is just an edit. Plus I did follow things like bring up issues on talk pages.Ingardot (talk) 18:06, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

WP:MMA

Well thats what I've been trying to say in the past that my edits are not that bad and if I can get help to come back on here would be great but there's others out there who will always disagree.--Ingardot (talk) 18:03, 1 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
