editHello, I'm Darren-M. I noticed that in this edit to Star Life, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Darren-M talk 21:46, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Ravensfire. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Please don't use Wikipedia to promote a website. It won't help (noFollow is turned on) and spam links are quickly removed. If promotional edits continue, you could be blocked and/or the site added to the spam black list which WILL stop anyone from spamming that website further. Just stop. Please do not add or change content, as you did at Elinor Wonders Why, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. The Grand Delusion(Send a message) 21:14, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at User:PedroLucasDBr, you may be blocked from editing. You vandalized my userpage. PedroLucasDBr (talk) 14:25, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
That was not my intention I was just responding to your inbox I have a life why do I need to worry about others plus Wikipedia has inaccuracies a lot of it not to mention a lack of certain information so when someone adds the info there it's considered vandalism. Provide receipts it still gets deleted. It doesn't matter whether I'm blocked or not fact is ANYONE can edit with or without logging in to the site even on the topics YOU keep tabs on.

Speedy deletion nomination of VIA channel
editHello Insidus,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged VIA channel for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Wikipedia and copyright
editHello Insidus! Your additions to EMovies have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 22:24, 27 July 2021 (UTC)

editYour edit to EMovies has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. Speedy deletion nomination of People's Weather
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on People's Weather, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tshwane TV requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Mandatory paid editing disclosure
editHello Insidus. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Insidus. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Insidus|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. ~Anachronist (talk) 01:35, 13 August 2021 (UTC)

Blocked
editI have blocked you indefinitely as a promotion-only account and for violating WP:UPE. Many of the South African TV articles you have created have been speedy deleted. Others are being evaluated for deletion at AfD. On August 13, 2021, you were instructed by User:Anachronist not to edit until you had addressed your conflict per UPE. Instead, you have commented at an AfD, you have edited articles that are related to your conflict, and you recreated an article that had been speedy-deleted in the past, calling it by a slightly different name. That recreation was taken to AfD, I tagged it per WP:A7 and WP:G11, and it was deleted by another administrator. All of these actions serve only to confirm your conflict and are disruptive to this project. See WP:GAB for your appeal rights.--Bbb23 (talk) 11:57, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
I don't care if I'm forever blocked as long as you don't look at pages like Dumisa TV which is the same as the pages you deleted I'm done with this useless site. It just shows that corruption is everywhere no matter where you turn and it's obvious you blocked my account because I called you out. Insidus (talk) 14:18, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
- No, you were blocked because you ignored my instruction to refrain from editing until you replied to my message above about being an undisclosed paid editor. That fact should be abundantly clear from Bbb23's message and my own up above. Your own failure to comprehend what has been made clear to you is not an excuse to level charges of "corruption". ~Anachronist (talk) 14:30, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

I would like a reduced sentence if you can't take down the block before that here's what I've learnt Wikipedia is a site for information and I made it look like self promotion by creating those sites and on top of that I tried to create a deleted page for that I'm sorry as it is the info on the category I invest most of my time in has been outdated for a while now and I tried to expand on that I just ask want to know why were the pages I created were deleted as those pages were created for future generations to explore the media's rich history and not to boost the sales of any serviceInsidus (talk)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
That run-on sentence is barely comprehensible. Please edit your appeal so that it uses normal English sentences with actual punctuation.
And you did not address the question about paid editing; it is OK to be paid directly or indirectly, but you must disclose this (see WP:PAID and convince an administrator that you understood it), because you entered into a legally-binding agreement to this disclosure when you created this account. ~Anachronist (talk) 18:33, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
Mpuma Kapa TV moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Mpuma Kapa TV, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
