Alexfusco5 would like to nominate you to become an administrator. Please visit Wikipedia:Requests for adminship to see what this process entails, and then contact Alexfusco5 to accept or decline the nomination. A page will then be for your nomination at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Instinct . If you accept the nomination, you must formally state and sign your acceptance and answer the questions on that page. Once you have answered the questions, you may post your nomination for discussion, or request that your nominator do so.
Okay I'll co-nom but from what I see above (thanks 82.31.4.206) you probably already have more co-nominators than some RFA's have support! Alexfusco521:09, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

On Jan 17, I updated the page Hello, I Love You to note a cover of the song by Missing Persons which I was listening to at that moment. You reverted change and I am trying to figure out what I did wrong. I will check back with you after your "adventure in moving" since this question is decidedly not an emergency. Lol. That's one mistake they need to fix. Did you know Devin Hester is the first player to ever have a speed rating of 100? He's the fastest player in Madden history. jj137(talk)00:46, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Great! Have you heard from JJ about how the template is going? By the way, I think you are sucking up peoples talk pages w/ the newsletter: at the end you put, in small text, <small>If ya don't want it, click here.<small>. I have expanded the lead by about a paragraph, and started the history page. You've got to be kidding me. He deleted two viable parts of the article, added one in an unproper way (without links etc.) and posted a link to the Celtics history, although the main article has all of what the history article has. And if you want to update the main article, you also have to do with the history article. Totally redundant, I think. And the history should actually be a part of the main Celtics article, because it is about the Celtics. ● 8-Hype(talk|contributions)18:22, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. I have seen that you use huggle by the fact that you have automatically updated the huggle white list(it does this when closing huggle). I was wondering if you would add the category [[Category:Wikipedians who use Huggle]] to your user page so that it fills out and we know who actually uses huggle. If you do not want to you do not have to. I am also sorry if i have already talked to you about this or you no longer use huggle but i sent it to everyone that has edited the page since mid January. I hope we can start to fill out this category. If you would like to reply to this message then please reply on my talk page as i will probably not check here again. Per the two oppose rule, your nomination to become a member of the Mediation Committee has been closed as unsuccessful. Please note that the Committee has a policy which means that a user cannot reapply within three months of their last unsuccessful nomination. However, we recommend that you take this opportunity to use the comments made at your nomination to improve yourself not only as a potential mediator, but as an editor of Wikipedia in general. Thanks again for your interest.

I left some more suggestions on the article talk page link to good article review. I've done many more reviews since I reviewed the article and I have many more suggestions. I'm sorry to dump so much on you to improve this article. There are many good articles that need to be delisted because they don't meet some of the suggestions I have been making. It's nice to see you working to improve the article.User:calbear22 (talk) 23:26, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
The sentence and paragraph part I talk about is under the the Wikipedia:Layout guidelines under the well written criteria. And reference formating is under the Wikipedia:guide to layout in the factually accurate and verifiable section. You can tell me how best to interpret the guide to layout guideline for references. I currently read it as requiring consistency among how references are cited. I don't really like this criteria in particular. It really is pretty unexciting to have to go through each reference and put it in full citation template.User:calbear22 (talk) 23:36, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
If the John Olerud part is really beyond dispute, then that's okay. But if the situation is disputed, then it needs to be added back in the article without the NPOV problems I discussed. I don't really now the story that well to comment either way. I am still concerned about the shortness of the section.User:calbear22 (talk) 23:43, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Although Transhumanist agreed to review your case after I asked him to, I guess I can get started with the many barnstars that you are due. Be advised, however, that the going will be slow, as I cannot spend huge chunks of time here on Wikipedia (which is usually when I review giant submissions like yours). My edits will be, for the time being, 2 minutes here and there. --Sharkface21702:51, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm really swamped right now. Took the SAT last week and have state standardized testing this week. On top of that, I'm getting everything read for college admissions, which in and of itself is a painful ordeal. Next week I will have a lot more free time. I will try to get on here as much as possible, but as of right now I'm not able to devote the usual 4+ hours stretches of editing on Wikipedia that I usually aim for. --Sharkface21702:55, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
It gets pretty bad, but there's always time for Wikipedia. As far as the SAT went, I strongly, strongly suggest you take a prep course like Kaplan or Princeton Review (I took the latter). The prep course itself was hell and totally fried my brains, but the SAT was much easier than I had expected due to the sheer amount of practice the prep course provided me with. --Sharkface21703:01, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Paprika.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 19:57, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Nice effort, but I think you picked a hard one to try for your first attempt. Since Jeff Dahl had provided a "proposed caption" on the FPC page, there was no need for you to write anything, so I replaced what you had with his (also, his text was more specific to the image, which is a plus). You'll notice that I didn't use it as-is, either; I eliminated unnecessary detail to keep it short and sweet -- enough to get the main points across and get people to read the article. Also, because it's a panorama-sized picture, I changed the layout too. If you want to try again, skip the next two -- the baseball image is reserved for Opening Day, and the hole-in-the-head one is a candidate for April 1 -- and go to Edward VI. howcheng {chat}05:14, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

There's gotta be a better way to do this. The Twinkle batch delete script can delete almost 100 articles per minute, but that only works for categories, so I was just using Firefox's tabs. jj137(talk)01:04, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Image talk is a risky namespace because a lot of those images have been moved to commons but still "exist" here. It's weird. jj137(talk)01:11, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Thank you Milk's Favorite Cookie. The image you pointed out is FP already. The edit was made to it by some one else. I keep in my galleries only my own, non-edided by other people, images. It is hard to answer what image of mine I consider to be the best. I know I took one of the rarest images ever taken - inferior mirage of the setting comet and this image is very dear to my heart, but is not scectacular at all and is not a very good quality. If you have a time you may read this funny story, which happened to one of my underwater images. When I think about this fish, it always makes me smile. I believe I'll answer your question like this: I hope that my best image is yet to be taken. --Mbz1 (talk) 02:32, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Thank you, very much for barnstar. It is so nice and kind of you! Honestly I do not consider myself to be a good photographer at all, but sometimes I get lucky to take interesting in my opinion images. I've been to all continents and many islands. I've been to Antarctica two times (both times with my film cmera). As a matter of fact I've done 99.99% of my travel with film camera. That's why the quality of the images I upladed to Wikipedia are not very good to say the least. I found out they used my image in London only after I got that e-mail from a stranger, who wrote that he saw my image in London's tube. If he did not e-mail me, I would have never known they took my image. Anyway I got the money, and I got the poster, and the most important of all I got the story to tell and to smile about. Best.--Mbz1 (talk) 03:00, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
How you feel about sharks? I've done cage diving with great white sharks, I snorkeled with whale sharks, I took an image of a shark, which looked as a tiger shark. All those soft adventures were big fun.--Mbz1 (talk) 03:08, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
I was in a cage only for great white. I was really, really scared a week before the dive, few days before the dive, few hours before the dive, but during the dive the only thing I felt was excitement. First time we've been to Antarctic Peninsula. The weather was beautiful! We were given polar parkas, but most of the time we did not need one. The temperature was 30F-35F with no wind and bright sun. Second time we went to real Antarctica, Ross Sea. The weather was very unusual that year. Most of the time the sky was really cloudy, but still there was no wind and we did not feel the cold. A friend of mine, who's been Antarctic Peninsula just a month before us told me it was so cold that a battery in her camera got frozen all the time. It never happened to us.--Mbz1 (talk) 03:24, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Great whites at Mexico, Whale sharks at Australia, Reef sharks at Palau, Maybe tiger shark at Bora-Bora.--Mbz1 (talk) 03:21, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Well, great whites and whale sharks were planned. At Palau I saw a shark by accident. At Bora-Bora I took an image without seeing a shark and found a shark, when I looked at a developed picture at home. I took some images of a very bad quality. Here's the one from Bora-Bora. Do you see a shark at the picture? BTW it was taken with a disposable camera. Here's whale shark taken also with disposable camera. When I did cage diving with great whites I did not take any underwater pictures because the cage was so shaky that I should have hold on with both my hands in order not to float around. Dive master took a video of me and sharks. I did take some pictures from the boat 1234 and so on. Too bad they are all digital pictures of my old film prints with the corresponding quality. I forgot to tell you that once I snorkeled in Western Australia. The water was very murky. I hardly saw a thing. When I got out a friend of mine asked, if I saw sharks and I said no. He said we should go again together and he would show me one. So we did and in five minutes we saw two reef sharks more than 4 feet each. I took a hand of my friend and he laughed at me, when we got out. Maybe sometimes it is better not to see them?--Mbz1 (talk) 03:53, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
They were very close as you could see from this image of a shark and cage together. When I was out, one shark put his head inside the cage and people, who were there at the moment got a great story to tell.--Mbz1 (talk) 22:40, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
