edit Hello, I'm Kuru. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Reciprocal inter-insurance exchange have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. editPaid editing?
editHello InsuranceLovers. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:InsuranceLovers. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=InsuranceLovers|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 16:43, 28 December 2020 (UTC
Hello Theroadislong. I do not have any financial relationship with any of the companies that are the subjects of the pages I've edited. Nor do I have any financial or professional relationship with any companies in the industry. InsuranceLovers (talk) 16:47, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- Ok thank you for making that clear. Theroadislong (talk) 16:53, 28 December 2020 (UTC)

editAre you directly or indirectly tied to any of the subjects you write about on Wikipedia? This is Branch Insurance among other insurance companies you write about. ZXVZ (talk) 17:04, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hello. No, I'm not. I received the same question from another editor and answered it unambiguously on this same talk page. I don't know exactly how to provide evidence for this other than to point out that I've made improvements to some of Branch Insurance's direct competitors' (e.g., Kin, Hippo's) pages, and have a draft in progress for another one of its competitors, ClearCover. I don't want to provide too much detail on this public forum but I have a personal academic interest in insurance, and don't have any financial relationships with any insurance companies nor do I have any expectation to receive any payment.InsuranceLovers (talk) 20:14, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
