Notability of James Harrison (English Goalkeeper)

edit

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article James Harrison (English Goalkeeper) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. —C.Fred (talk) 17:00, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of James Harrison (Russian Footballer)

edit

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as James Harrison (Russian Footballer), to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.   Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Jonathan Tuffey. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Struway2 (talk) 19:02, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did to List of Eurovision Song Contest winners, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Struway2 (talk) 20:18, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 20:41, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
