Church of San Antón

edit

Please don't write about your personal experience and opinion when editing Wikipedia articles. As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia reflects what has been published elsewhere by reliable sources, and not what our editors think about a subject. To get an idea how Wikipedia works, you might want to follow the links I posted above. Regards, De728631 (talk) 15:13, 21 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I think you're on a good way to expand this article but there are several issues with the way you're doing it, as I have pointed out with the little yellow maintenance tags. First of all, this article needs sources that confirm what you have written. I guess there are lots of books about this church, so you should be able to back up your claims by adding some proper references to the article. Then there's your style of writing which is a rather narrative way, using words like "we" and "you". This is not very encyclopedic because the reader might think it was a personal reflection by the writer. For our articles you should use a passive mode like "this can be seen", or "the belfry can be accessed". And please avoid personal judgements like "the best" or "wonderful". Wikipedia is not a travel guide. De728631 (talk) 15:46, 21 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I used a lot of bibliography to write this article here you have,I´m editing now and the bibliography is the last point.

  1. El gótico: arte de la Baja Edad Media / María del Carmen Muñoz; Gonzalo M. Borrás; Juan José Junquera / Editorial Espasa Calpe / 2003.
  2. La culminación del gótico / Luis Sanguino; Carlos Cobo; Álvaro Cruz; Begoña de Isasa / Editorial Dolmen / 2002.
  3. El gótico español de la Edad Moderna : bóvedas de crucería / Javier Gómez / Universidad de Madrid / 1998.
  4. La variedad del gótico del siglo XV / Jesús María Caamaño / Editorial Historia 16 / 1993.
  5. Baja Edad Media : los siglos del gótico / Joaquín Yarza / Editorial Sílex / 1992.
  6. El siglo XVI : Gótico y Renacimiento / Fernando Marías / Editorial Sílex / 1992.
  7. Las claves del arte gótico / Josep Bracons / Editorial Planeta / 1991.
  8. Arte gótico en España / Jose María de Azcárate / Cátedra / 1990.
  9. El arte gótico / Francesca Español; Joaquín Yarza / Editorial Historia 16 / 1989.
  10. El gótico / Roland Recht; Joseph Schlipf / Editorial Alianza / 1988.
  11. La Edad Media : románico, gótico / José Milicua; Joan Sureda / Editorial Planeta / 1987.
  12. La esencia del estilo gótico / Wilhelm Worringer; Manuel García / Revista “Occidente Argentina” / 1942.
That's great. But later on, people will probably ask for confirmation of certain facts with inline citations like footnotes. You can find a manual for coding footnotes here. De728631 (talk) 18:59, 21 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Iraide.gelado:, I saw your edits on Church of San Antón. You may want to review WP:OVERLINK to make the article better. Generally common words should not be linked and there's seldom a need to make a link more than once. Keep up the good work. SchreiberBike talk 18:20, 27 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
