-- Hi! We have an academic background which you can find here. Sources we use are cited in the pdf document. We are not aware of a directly comparable work. The latest turbulences on the stock market once again show that the only way to control the losses in a portfolio that consists of stocks and riskless assets is to choose the stock proportion according to your personal utility. Therefore this contribution should interest all those people who are risk-averse investors and want to find out what portion of stocks they should invest in.
