Copying licensed material requires attribution

edit

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Common Travel Area you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Open Government Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 22:19, 17 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve San Marino nationality law

edit

Hello, Ire96,

Thank you for creating San Marino nationality law.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Please see https://tools.wmflabs.org/copyvios/?lang=en&project=wikipedia&title=San%20Marino%20nationality%20law&oldid=&action=search&use_engine=1&use_links=1&turnitin=0&noredirect=true and rewrite copied sentences.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Insertcleverphrasehere}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

@Insertcleverphrasehere: “Violation Unlikely 0.0% confidence“ The San Marino page was created with completely free information supplied by my ref, in my ref it states “reproduction is authorised, provided the source is acknowledged, save where otherwise stated.“ I fully complied to this request by sourcing them. I have rewritten the page and removed the “non-free” Edit. Thank you for the tip. Ire96 (talk) 23:50, 30 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ire96, No worries, I've requested the old revisions of the page be deleted now that the current one contains no issues. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 06:15, 31 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

edit
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:55, 23 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
