I have still fond memories of Saint Patrick II

Welcome!

edit

Hello, Irishferries, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You may also want to complete the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit the Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome!

The name of your account and your edits lead to the assumption that you are working for the equally named company Irish Ferries. This is in conflict to our policy, i.e. WP:CORPNAME, and you should seek to rename your account. Instructions are to be found at WP:UNC.

Next point is that you must disclose paid editing per Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure if you are indeed working for or on behalf of Irish Ferries. Otherwise you violate the terms of use of Wikipedia.

Some of your edits are helpful, i.e. addition of photos, updating current facts of Irish Ferries etc. But some are violating the neutral point of view and encylopedic style. In this edit you added a promotional quote by Eamonn Rothwell with phrases like “The construction of a cruise ferry of this size will offer a premium experience for all our customers, in line with our commitment to deliver the best in service, in reliability and flexibility across all our routes.” This violates the neutral point of view. We are far more interested in the viewpoints of third sources, i.e. the press and other publications, than in promotional statements by Irish Ferries. Please keep in mind that, if you are indeed paid by Irish Ferries, you have a conflict of interest and that you must make sure that your contributions are not considered as advocacy.

Please feel free to ask me any questions. Regards, AFBorchert (talk) 18:42, 4 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
