Well...
editI said in an earlier talk page post that I would not try to help you again, but I'm afraid I find that I am unable to stick to my promise. Here is some advice on how to return to editing. I write it in the hope it may be helpful to you.
- You were initially blocked from editing for three days. The notice announcing that block told you how to request an unblock. You could have requested an unblock on your talk page. If you had done so, you might have been unblocked right away, or if not then the worst that could have happened was that you remained blocked for three days. Instead of requesting an unblock, you tried to get round the block by using sockpuppets accounts, so you were blocked for another three days. You could have requested an unblock, and at the worst remained blocked for the six days. Instead, you tried to evade the block, and were blocked indefinitely. Even then, you could have made a sensible unblock request, and had a reasonable chance of being unblocked, but you chose instead to throw that chance away. (By "a sensible unblock request" I don't mean something like the nonsense at UTRS where you pretended that you had been blocked for uploading an image. I mean a request that actually shows an understanding of the reason for the block, and deals with that reason.) Do you know what it means to say "if you are in a hole stop digging"? You are digging yourself further and further into a situation where you are less and less likely to be unblocked. I believe that all of your article edits have now been reverted. If you keep creating new sockpuppet accounts they will keep being blocked, and their edits will be reverted, so you will achieve nothing
- It is too late now to settle for a block of three days or six days, but here is advice on how you can settle for a block of a limited duration, and then return to editing.
- Almost none of the administrators who regularly deal with unblock requests is remotely likely to even consider unblocking you unless you take the standard offer, but yo are lucky, because I am an exception, in fact perhaps the only one who would consider unblocking you sooner than that.
- Don't edit for at least a month. During that time, read Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks, several times, and think very carefully about what it says. Write out a request for unblocking. Before you post it, read it through again, and think about whether it follows the advice given in the guide to appealing blocks. After the month is over, post it to your talk page as an unblock request. Make sure that it shows an understanding of both the reason for the original block and the reason for the block being extended. Make sure that it shows that you understand why what yo did was unacceptable, and that you won't do those things again. Make sure it doesn't contain anything irrelevant, such as claiming that you were blocked for updating an image, because that will just show that you either don't understand the reason for the block or else do understand but won't admit it; in either of those cases it will make it much less likely that you will be unblocked.
- When you have got the unblock request sorted out, and remember also that I said after not editing for at least a month, post the request, in the proper unblock request template. Make sure you include ~~~~ to sign your post, and include {{Ping|JBW}} in the same post. (Don't post one and then go back and post the other, as that won't work.) I will be automatically notified of your post, and I will read your unblock request. If you persuade me that you really understand the reasons for the blocks, and that you won't do the same any more, I'll unblock you.
- What I have said above is by far your best chance of being unblocked. It is almost certain that no other administrator will consider unblocking for at least six months, and even then there is no guarantee that they will. Also, the following is really important. If you are found to be using sockpuppets again then it is virtually certain that neither I nor any other administrator will consider unblocking you.
So there's my advice. You can take it or leave it, as you choose, but I hope you will take it. JBW (talk) 20:35, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
Hello, JBW, I will not be editing Wikipedia anymore. All I want now is that post a Retired template on my user page. IronyRana (talk) 05:40, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
