Eckhart Tolle's Birthday

Thank you for providing citations for Eckhart's birthplace. The citation you provided for his birthday seems to be from a site which has copied from wikipedia (the rest of his bio is identical to the wikipedia lead). Do you have any ciartions from a more reliable source, such as a newspaper? If not I may have to remove this again. WP:DOB is very explicit about providing citations from respected sources for birthdays and all fact in BLPs. Gregcaletta (talk) 02:02, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

I have now deleted the information of his exact birthday. Your addition of a citation for his exact birthplace was much appreciated, because it came from a reliable source, so thank you for that. The source you provided from "Goodreads.com" unfortunately is not reliable, because it quotes all of its information directly from WIkipedia. We need to be particularly careful on Wikipedia when it comes to Biographies of living persons because of legal issues. If you can find a newspaper or equally respected journalistic source that includes his birthday then that would be much appreciated, but until then we will have to err on the side of caution, and include only the year.
