Welcome
editMy name is Acather96 and it gives me great pleasure to tell you that I have been selected as your new Wiki-Guide! When you first join Wikipedia, it can seem very confusing at first - so it helps to have an experienced, friendly user to guide you through your initial edits. I'm here to help, so if you have any questions you can contact me on my talk page, or you can send me an e-mail. Soon, I'll contact you via e-mail to see how you're getting on, and if there is anything I can do to help. Below are some links that you may find useful when making your first edits:

Hi there.
- I'm sorry I mistyped 'CDS' as 'CDB' when editing that page.
- Please beware conflict of interest issues, please read WP:BFAQ
- When editing pages, please put something in the edit summary before you click 'save' - it helps others to see what you were doing; for example, look at the history of that page.
- Please try to format the references as shown below;
How references work |
---|
Simple referenceseditThese require two parts;
Chzz is 98 years old.<ref> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref> He likes tea. <ref> [http://www.nicecupofteaandasitdown.com Tea website] </ref>
== References == {{reflist}} (an existing article is likely to already have one of these sections) To see the result of that, please look at user:chzz/demo/simpleref. Edit it, and check the code; perhaps make a test page of your own, such as user:Isitme2/reftest and try it out. Named referenceseditChzz was born in 1837, <ref name="MyBook"> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref> in Footown.<ref name="MyBook"/> Note that the second usage has a / (and no closing ref tag). This needs a reference section as above; please see user:chzz/demo/namedref to see the result. Citation templateseditYou can put anything you like between <ref> and </ref>, but using citation templates makes for a neat, consistent look; Chzz has 37 Olympic medals. <ref> {{Citation | last = Smith | first = John | title = Olympic medal winners of the 20th century | publication-date = 2001 | publisher = [[Cambridge University Press]] | page = 125 | isbn = 0-521-37169-4 }} </ref> Please see user:chzz/demo/citeref to see the result. For more help and tips on that subject, see user:chzz/help/refs. |
- (For more on that, see WP:Referencing for beginners)
- If you need help, just put {{helpme}} here, on this page, followed by a question.
- Thanks, Chzz ► 00:23, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. RadioFan (talk) 16:22, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
