Hello, Itgel917, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Elysia and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Note about citing Wikipedia

edit

Hi Itgel917, thanks for creating Maria Alexandrovna Sechenova. However, I noticed that you are citing the Russian Wikipedia. All Wikipedias are user-generated content, meaning that editors can write whatever they want. Most vandalism is removed, but some remains in the website. Wikipedia should never be cited as a reliable source.

Instead, when translating an article, you should also use the citations used in that article (as long as they are also to reliable sources) rather than citing Wikipedia. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:57, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
