Animal House

It's hard to figure what's up with that guy and his Leo Strauss story. Oddly enough, it's not even my battle. There have been others reverting it, for probably several weeks now. It has become kind of a tedious cat-and-mouse game. It's not as bad as what that one yahoo was doing to the George Reeves page, but it's still annoying. The one thing about putting that gossip in the toga party page is that at least it could arguably belong there. Putting it in the Animal House page is out of context. The guy is clearly pushing a point of view, or something to do with the "gay agenda" (either pro or con) or some other personal reason, which he denies, but I don't believe it. The fact that he won't discuss it is a dead giveaway, as I see it. Ah, what's an editor to do? Wahkeenah 13:16, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Unfortunately, the vandal is from AOL. All AOL users come to Wikipedia through common proxies, so blocking such IP for an extended period of time will result in a lot of collateral damage. So there is no way to block this IP permanently. --WinHunter ^(talk) 14:10, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Eulogy

Just a question -- what do you think, does the LGBT-related films cat negate the Lesbianism-related films cat? I believe LGBT-related films is a parent category of Lesbianism-related films anyhow. Is it still useful? -FateSmiled&DestinyLaughed 22:02, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

- hi. since the description of the LGBT-related films category reads, "films that deal with or feature important gay, lesbian or bisexual or transgender characters or issues and may have same-sex romance or relationships as an important plot device", i figured having both that category and the lesbian film category attached to Eulogy (film) was redundant. Deception/Eleanor Aller

Thanks for your message. Apparently, Aller was Mrs Felix Slatkin and she was pregnant with Frederic(k) Zlotkin when she played for Henreid. Her other son is Leonard Slatkin. Her father, Gregory Aller, coached Henreid in plausible bow movements.

More curiosiities about the film: During the cello-playing scenes, Paul Henreid's hands were tied behind his back and two actual cellists were used in the close shots--one placed his right hand through Henreid's right sleeve and worked the bow; the other placed his left arm through Henreid's left sleeve and did the fingering.

Original cast lists

I agree with you. I don't see why people would delete the original cast lists (for principal roles). The blue-links alone are interesting. I support restoring this content. By the way, the issue is currently being discussed on the talk page at WP:MUSICALS, where you can express your opinion on the matter.
