Thanks for your input, I will keep your suggestions in mind, I am new and still learning. Mary Hammond (talk) 18:57, 22 November 2013 (UTC) Mary Hammond
- No problem. Minor edits just help people who are sorting through. Marking them properly helps editors. Wikipedia guidelines can be quite confusing when getting started (lots of pages of them, for one thing). --JC1008 (talk) 22:33, 22 November 2013 (UTC)

I'm glad to hear of your interest in categorizing HABS/HAER/HALS documentation. In case this will save any possible duplication of effort, you should know that I've already gone through the HAER collections for Delaware, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C., in sequential order by HAER number, adding categories and external links to all of the corresponding Wikipedia entries that I could find. I'm currently working my way through the HAER collection for New Jersey but haven't had much free time lately. Martindelaware (talk) 12:28, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
- That's great; That sounds like a heck of a bunch of work. I think that I will mostly be doing 18th-century oriented HABS/HALS, based on a list that I'm compiling for another project of over 600 historic sites and museums. I'm putting information into Wikipedia from my list that I find missing. If you have any pointers to 18th-century related HAER things, feel free to let me know. --JC1008 (talk) 10:18, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
edit Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Independence Hall into Pennsylvania in the American Revolution. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 15:20, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
