Logical, but

edit

The change from i (newspaper) to i here [1] makes sense, but it's not that good from an accessability perspective, I think. i is a little hard to see and click. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:49, 5 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Well, blame them for having a stupid inaccessible name. Not much the bot can do about it. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 09:52, 5 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Bot running on ANI

edit

I understand the purpose of the bot is to improve/fix citations in our articles. But why is it running on ANI and making fixes there? I understand that we typically don't make these sorts of corrections on behalf of others when in the projectspace. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 03:26, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

I don't really remember asking it to edit that page specifically. Likely what it was is I did a scan of all pages with that issue, and just didn't notice it was on ANI. No real point in reverting. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 07:20, 12 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Obvious error: [2] I fixed the article, you fix the bot. ―Mandruss  00:18, 23 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

That's funny

edit

The bot is correcting "Studia Universitatis Babes-Bolyai" to "Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai" [3], but that too is wrong. The university's article is titled Babeș-Bolyai University. Ş is a Turkish diacritic, Ș being the Romanian one. You can read Ș#Unicode support to understand why would they ever be confused even in formal places. But yeah. It's still misspelled.
