Speedy deletion nomination of James Flannigan (Songwriter/Producer)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on James Flannigan (Songwriter/Producer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WuhWuzDat 18:40, 19 March 2011 (UTC)

editPlease refrain from writing autobiographical articles, as you did at James Flannigan (Songwriter/Producer). Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged; if you create such an article, it may be deleted. All edits to articles must conform to our policies on no original research, neutral point of view, and avoid conflicts of interest. Please remember that Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia, not a personal webspace provider. If your achievements are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. WuhWuzDat 18:40, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. I noticed that you removed one of these from one of the articles you have been making about members of the band Stiff Dylans. Also, please be aware that members of notable bands are redirected to the band's article, not given individual articles, unless they have demonstrated individual notability for activity independent of the band, such as solo releases. Please see WP:MN for more. Jay Σεβαστόςdiscuss 20:07, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
Sock/meatpuppetry
editHello. Because of your and Matttb's recent edits and your user names, I believe that you're associated not only with the subject of your edits (WP:COI) but with each other as well. This is known as sock- or meatpuppetry, and is not allowed in most cases. You were probably unaware of our policy, so I won't request investigation on the matter if the accounts cease editing the same subjects and participating in the same debates, in other words, stop violating WP:SOCK. I'll also request investigation if more suspicious accounts begin popping up or if you deny using sock/meatpuppets, as that's the only fair way to find out. If you're using socks, now's the time to be honest and give them up - if you aren't, you have nothing to fear and are welcome to edit as usual. Zakhalesh (talk) 13:44, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
