Christian Reconstructionism
editI think there is solid material to research the subject. You need to avoid the most hyperbolic claims by critics, and the claims by supporters that paper over some tough questions. There is actually a multi-discipline current in scholarship which has a journal called Totalitarian Movements and Political Religions. The page here on Wiki on Christian Reconstructionism is actually quite good, and has some very useful cites (at least it did ten minutes ago). Remember, nothing on Wiki should be used with checking. Also, see my five part series on "The Christian Right, Dominionism, and Theocracy" at http://www.talk2action.org. Hope this helps.--Cberlet 19:53, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Number Crunching
editOK, how about taking the national election data and seeing if there is a way to compare it to demographic data on wealth and race by zip code to see if Black voters who said they were concerned about moral values split based on income levels for the Republicans or Democrats; and if that varied between the two states? John C. Green at the University of Akron is an expert on this type of analysis. Check out some of his journal and popular articles and book chapters. Take a look at this article for related ideas. Digital roots of multiples of 11
editLet's choose, say, 44. Times 9 that's 396. 3 + 9 + 6 = 18. Since that's more than one digit, we repeat to get the digital root: 1 + 8 = 9. It works even though 44 is a multiple of 11. PrimeFan 22:35, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

editFor the record, I do get involved with controversial and contentious articles. I arrogate to myself the belief that I do so in order to keep the subject matter neutral. Naturally, the degree with which I achieve that is quite variable. I loathe to discuss my political leanings as my goal is to keep those at bay but suffice to say I'm not working for the RNC.
I appreciate the level-headedness of your discussions on the talk page. ∴ Therefore | talk 18:52, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
