Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, JJOSEPHA NEWS NETWORK (JNN), and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm Mathglot and I've volunteered to be your Wikipedia mentor. I'm here for you whenever you need help with Wikipedia. It's great to have you on board to help create this online encyclopedia.

A cup of hot tea to welcome you!

See your homepage for a brief tutorial. Here are a few links you might find helpful:

Need some ideas about what kind of things need doing? Try the "Suggested edits" module top left on your homepage, or the Task Center. Based on your contributions, you might want to consider joining WikiProject Curaçao.

Help is available: as your Mentor, you can always find me listed in the "Your mentor" module bottom right on your homepage; there are also additional help links there. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or try the Wikipedia:Teahouse to get help designed especially for new users from a team of experienced volunteers. So go ahead and ask questions — we're here to help!

Once again, welcome to Wikipedia! Mathglot (talk) 00:32, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please request a username change

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "JJOSEPHA NEWS NETWORK (JNN)", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it appears to be an organization or promotional username. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing.

Note that you are allowed to use your own name as your username, so that if you are Josefina Josefa and do not mind the lack of anonymity, you can request that your username be changed to that. Note that in order to prevent impersonation, Wikipedia requires proof of identity in this case; you can do this by sending an email to info-en@wikimedia.org.

Thank you. Mathglot (talk) 02:07, 11 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello Mathglot, thank you for the guidance. I have initiated the Global Rename Request to change my account name to "JJosepha" as suggested, ensuring full compliance with the username policy. The request is currently queued for processing. I appreciate your help in having my account aligned with the individual contributor guidelines. Thanks! Looks like the name request has completed; congrats! Mathglot (talk) 20:53, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
